def a walmart tarp! i got the same one for my wife's GHB and strapped it to the bottom. I upgraded myself and got the heavier brown/silver version on my bag - heavy duty stuff for cheap

the walmart gear in the filed is WAY better than the top shelf stuff still in the wrapper.

 

Awesome that your boy is learning wilderness skills at such a young age! I'm sure that as he grows older he'll be thankful for all you're teaching him.

Crutch -- looks amazing and a great job, but I do have a question..... when I buy the tarps i buy the ones that are brown on one side and green on the other...... do you buy the blue for a purpose or did they not have green and brown...?

 

When I bought it, It was grey. Then I opened it and it was blue on the other side. LOL

That tarp is cheap garbage, and I'd personally prefer brown or even a cammo if available.

 

Figured as much....... those tarps or cheap garbage but I have a few of them, but they will keep the majority of the water off if you need to erect them......... but you will never get them back into the same package once they are opened...........
